The RV traveling and camping world has exploded in popularity. More people than ever are visiting the beautiful Smoky Mountains and the Western North Carolina areas to enjoy being outdoors. Even in this difficult time since Covid-19 began, RV vacationing has thrived for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. All RV Technicians in this area have been over booked and overwhelmed. I do my best to keep up with calls and texts so please be patient, give me as much information as possible in your message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you need your RV repaired please look at the credentials and reputation of the tech you hire before letting them work on your RV. This is a repair made by a so called RV technician. He split the furnace open and zip tied a new computer outside of the furnace instead of inside like it should be. This is not safe! RV technicians are not all the same when it comes to making repairs.

I do not do awnings, drive train/engine work, tires/axels or structural repairs.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My policy on warranty work has changed for several companies. Certain companies are making it difficult for technicians to be paid and it takes extensive time on the phone chasing payment and approvals which I need to actually perform services.
 If you need warranty work, depending on the company,  you may need to pay your bill
and get pre-approval and be reimbursed by the manufacturer yourself.
I will be happy to provide necessary information and findings to you,
 but that is all I can do at this time.
When I am able to provide warranty work, anything not covered by warranty will be the responsibility of the RV owner to pay at time of service.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience but it is necessary due to increased volume of work or lack of parts and inventory by suppliers.
 As many of you know it can take hours at times with companies on the phone just to get answers and approvals. Please let me know when you call if it is warranty work and what company or extended policy you are working with to help facilitate faster service.
As the campgrounds get full and summer thunderstorms become frequent, the chance for a power surge in your RV increases.
One thing that doesn't like a surge is the power converter.
The symptoms of a failing converter are;
~Dim lights or no lights.
~Battery's won't stay charged.
May cause problems with:
~Air conditioning units.
~Refrigerator.
~Water heater.
~Furnace,
or anything that runs 12 volts.
If you are experiencing problems with any of the above, give Randy a call at Owens RV and Marine Mobile Repair!
It’s refreshing to do business with a company that does things the right way. Randy Owens is a very trustworthy person and I would not hesitate to call him back. Great pricing, very knowledgeable and clean work, even came out on a Saturday on time and fixed the problem I had with with our campers heater in a timely manner which then let us go back to enjoying our camping trip.
Randy is a living angel! My RV broke down on a major highway and it wasn’t even something that he usually fixes but he came out anyway to help me and my daughter who were stranded in the middle of nowhere and got us back on the road. Like somebody else said, I would give him 100 stars if I could!
